These varieties produced well last year and offer variety of color and looks for any garden. My next door neighbor clustered Red Flash with Clusters of White Christmas behind them. With their American Flag, it was quite striking.
Red:
- Red Flash: very large leaves and showy. These were the last Caladiums to come up last year, but produced well for me through out a dry summer. Can stand morning and filtered sun.
White:
White Christmas very large leaves and showy as well. Stand up well to Texas heat and create a cool feeling.
- Miss Muffet. This is a smaller leaf. It stands up well to Texas heat. I used as a border for Pink Hydrangeas and a backdrop behind Tuberous Begonias for a very nice effect.
Pink: Carolyn Whorton
A showy pink that can stand up to some sun. Intense pink with red splotches and green. Large leaves. The Carolyn Whortons produce large full plants that are quite showy against evergreens.
